I’m still here, working out ideas. This post is just to sort out some housekeeping and welcome another reader. That makes two, not counting me!
(Only kidding. But you know who you are.)
I've rearranged the furniture a little. I will revisit the whole design in due course, but it’ll do for now. I need to sort out some of the graphic hosting arrangements to make things easier to tweak in future.
But that’s all by-the-by. This time next week, Best Beloved and I will be sleeping in a hotel in York. I’m really hoping the weather will be kind, for our first proper holiday where we’re not staying with friends in years.
Being railway modellers, we shall be spending a bit of time — quite a lot of time, actually — in and around the National Railway Museum. If we feel strong enough, we may well trek to either the North York Moors Railway or the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway for a spot of photography. I’m also keen to make a trip over to Whitby, so the NYMR seems highly likely. Not forgetting, of course, the city of York itself.
Expect to see my Flickr Photostream overflow its banks when we get back.

I highly recommend Whitby. There are many, many photographic opportunities to be had in that beautiful corner of the north.
Sadly, we didn't get long in the town. We've both agreed that we'd like to return for a longer visit - preferably when the abbey itself is actually open!
